Lillian is still really little compared to my Taelyn, but she still wants in on all of the action. Today Taelyn pulled the cushions off of the couch and bounced around on them on the floor. It wasn’t long at all before Lillian made her way over there and did her own form of playing. I love, love to see them playing together. I can’t wait until they are older and can really play together.
At school this week, Taelyn was learning the letter O. So they were sent home 3 Oreos in a bag to represent the letter O. After her lunch, I let her have her cookies and I was curious to see how she was going to eat them. I didn’t say anything to sway her one way or another. She took them apart, then used her fingernail to scrap off all of the middle and eat it. Then said she didn’t want the rest. So she just ate the creme filling. No cookies. I eat my oreos all together dipped in milk. I dip one side for about 20 seconds (until the whole cookie threatens to fall apart in the milk), take that bite and then dip the side of the other half in milk again. Then I eat the other side. No breaking cookies apart for me. Scott takes them apart and eats one side at a time. How do you eat your oreos?
Tonight we went to the new Keifer’s for dinner. I love the new building… it is super nice, but it still has the feel of the old building. But those parking spaces were SKINNY. I was a nervous wreck trying to get my minivan parked in that space. Dinner was yummy, though. When we were coming out there was a big limo parked outside with all of these older ladies walking to the car. They were so very sweet and asked if Taelyn wanted to get inside of the limo and look around. She loved seeing that “long car!” But she said that she likes the minivan better. That girl!!
